How to apply HPX 7600 Paint Protection Film
Preparation – Required Tools
- HPX Paint Protection Film
- HPX Preparation Wipe (included)
- Spray bottle with water + mild soap solution
- Scissors or cutter
- Squeegee (included)
- Clean, lint-free cloth
Step 1: Prepare the Shape
- Mark the area to be protected on paper.
- Cut out the shape and use it as a template.
- Transfer the template onto the matte side of the film.
- Measure and cut the film to the desired length.
Step 2: Cut Out the Film
- Cut the film to shape.
- Round off all sharp corners to prevent peeling.
Step 3: Clean the Surface
- Use the HPX preparation wipe to thoroughly clean the application area.
- Ensure the surface is free of dust, grease, and wax.
Step 4: Apply Spray Solution
- Spray the water-soap solution generously on the vehicle surface.
- Remove the film liner and spray the adhesive side of the film as well.
Step 5: Position the Film
- Place the film onto the wet surface.
- The soapy water allows repositioning for a perfect fit.
Step 6: Use the Squeegee
- Starting from the center, press out water and air bubbles towards the edges.
- Work carefully for a smooth, bubble-free result.
Step 7: Dry the Area
- Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe away excess water.
Step 8: Allow to Adhere
- Let the film settle for at least 15 minutes before driving.
- Wait 24 hours before washing the vehicle.
